WhaleWorks Program 07

Innovation & Future Technologies

Prepare rural youth to participate confidently and responsibly in the future economy.

Innovation pathway

Participants explore emerging technologies through accessible, hands-on projects that build curiosity, problem solving, ethical awareness, and exposure to fast-changing careers. The goal is not only to use new tools, but to understand, question, design, and create with them.

Core experiences

Learning that is active, practical, and connected.

Each experience can stand alone, but the strongest results come from sustained participation, trusted mentorship, and progression into other WhaleWorks pathways.

  • Artificial intelligence literacy and responsible use
  • Robotics, sensors, and automation
  • Drones, mapping, and remote systems
  • 3D design, prototyping, and printing
  • Esports, coding, simulation, and teamwork
  • Emerging careers and industry demonstrations

Participant journey

A clear pathway without forcing every learner into the same route.

Young people can enter at different stages and move forward at a pace that reflects their interests, readiness, and goals.
